Visiting Miami on a budget doesn’t mean you have to miss out on the vibrant experiences the city offers. One of my favorite spots is Oleta River State Park, a fantastic place where you can indulge in outdoor activities without breaking the bank. The park is well known for its kayaking and biking trails, offering a refreshing escape into nature right within the city. I vividly remember renting a kayak there for less than $20 and paddling along the calm waters, spotting local wildlife and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. For bike enthusiasts, there are miles of single-track and paved trails catering to all skill levels. The entry fee to the park is very reasonable, typically around $6 per vehicle, making it a cost-effective day trip option. Besides Oleta River State Park, Miami offers many attractions and activities under $50. For example, you can explore vibrant neighborhoods like Little Havana or Wynwood to enjoy local food, art, and culture at affordable prices. Street art tours, food tastings, and visiting public beaches are excellent ways to soak up the local vibe without spending a fortune. Overall, Miami balances outdoor adventure with cultural experiences that fit a modest budget. If you plan your itinerary wisely, focusing on parks, cultural walks, and affordable dining, you'll enjoy a rich and memorable visit without overspending.

📍 Raccoon Island Miami 🎟️ It’s technically free to visit the island, buuuut it’s an island, so you need some way to get there! 🛥️ There are plenty of different boat tours, yacht rentals, paddleboard or kayak rentals to get there, buuuut 🛶 I recommend So Flo Adventures. It was $99/person

Does anyone know anything about caring for a 6 week old, orphaned raccoon? Her mama sadly passed away in an engine. She’s not showing any signs of injury, she’s going to the bathroom fine and we have her on a rehydration diet consisting of Pedialyte. Any advice or experiences are welcome! #raccoon
