As someone who's always on the hunt for that perfect airbrush finish, especially for my undereyes, I was so excited to get my hands on this. My original post was just a quick demo, but there's so much more to share about my experience. First off, let's talk about the packaging. The original Easy Bake loose powder is iconic, but a pressed powder compact? That's a game-changer for on-the-go touch-ups. The compact itself feels really luxurious and sturdy, exactly what you'd expect from Huda Beauty. It's sleek, fits perfectly in my makeup bag, and has a good mirror, which is always a plus. It also comes with a new dual-sided puff and sponge applicator, and let me tell you, this isn't just a gimmick. One side is a puff for general setting, and the other is a sponge, which I found absolutely brilliant for precise undereye application, giving that truly 'snatched' look Huda is known for. Now, onto the application, especially for those tricky undereyes. I used to rely on setting my undereye concealer with loose powder, but sometimes it could look a bit heavy or even shimmery, which isn't the look I'm going for. With this new pressed powder, specifically for my undereyes, I pressed the product gently with the sponge side of the applicator after my concealer. The difference was immediate. It brightened my undereyes without any cakiness, and the airbrush finish was truly remarkable. It smooths out fine lines and pores, making everything look incredibly seamless. I used the 'Cherry Blossom Cake' shade for this, which is my usual brightening powder, and it gave that perfect lift. Speaking of shades, I also tried 'Pound Cake' on the other side of my face to compare, and honestly, I didn't see a major difference between the two in terms of how they performed or looked on my skin, which is a good thing! It means you can likely go for either if you're between shades or want a subtle difference. 'Pound Cake' offers a more universal, true setting shade, while 'Cherry Blossom Cake' definitely gives a subtle brightening effect, especially for lighter to medium skin tones. What truly impressed me was that, unlike some previous powders I've used (including the older Huda Beauty loose powder which could sometimes feel a bit shimmery or make my face look dry), this pressed formula caused no dryness whatsoever. My skin felt comfortable and smooth all day. After finishing the rest of my makeup – blush, setting spray, a little lip product – I kept checking to see if that undereye brightness would fade, or if the airbrushed effect would diminish. But it stayed pretty dang flawless! Even with a slightly dewy setting spray, the powder held everything in place beautifully, preventing creasing and shine in my T-zone without making my skin look matte or flat. The longevity is definitely there, and I found myself needing fewer touch-ups throughout the day. I'm super pleased with how this product performs. It delivers on its promise of an 'airbrush finish' and has truly taken the spot of my previous holy grail setting powder, even replacing my beloved Givenchy powder for its convenience and flawless finish. If you're looking for a new easy bake pressed powder to perfect your complexion, especially your undereyes, this is definitely worth trying!
