Simple Cheesy Savory Meal

Ingredients:

Ûµ 12-16oz of vegan meat or meat

۵ 2 Cheese and Broccoli Mix(I prefer the one with rice and from dollar tree as it’s 1.25 vs 2+ per pack)

Ûµ Broccoli fresh or frozen (any amount you see fit, the mix itself seemed to have insufficient amount the first time I made it so I just add it myself)

Ûµ Spices (I use Dill, Turmeric, onion Powder, and garlic powder)

Ûµ 4 Cups of water

Ûµ Any amount of cheese slices, I use 4 slices of vegan smoked gouda

Ûµ sesame oil (optional for meat)

How to Make:

- > Note: The heat is always set to a variant of medium and below, if things cook too fast or start to burn it does down, too slow or needs to be hotter up.

Ûµ Add in meat first and cook until it is mostly cooked

Ûµ I added silk tofu because it was about to go bad but it is optional and not needed

Ûµ Add in all spices and mix in

Ûµ add in the broccoli and mix in

Ûµ mix in both of the cheese and broccoli mixes one at a time

Ûµ add in 4 cups of water and stir to make sure all of it is incorporated

۵ cook to bags instructions- if it’s the same package as mine it should be 7 minutes covered 2 minutes uncovered

Ûµ add the slices of cheese after it is done cooking, mix it in and give it a minute or two before remixing

This cheesy savory dish leans on key ingredients like vegan meat and broccoli, but let's explore some additional enhancements to truly transform your meal into a culinary delight. Consider adding a variety of colorful vegetables such as bell peppers, zucchini, or mushrooms to boost the nutritional value and add layers of flavor. Incorporating garlic and onions at the beginning of the cooking process can further enhance the aromatic quality of your dish. If you're looking for more plant-based protein, try using lentils or chickpeas in combination with the vegan meat. These legumes not only enrich the meal but also provide a delightful crunch. Adding a splash of lemon juice before serving can brighten the flavors and provide a refreshing contrast to the richness of the cheese. For those who enjoy some heat, a pinch of chili flakes or a drizzle of hot sauce can make the dish pop! Don't forget your spices—experimenting with smoked paprika or cumin can introduce a unique twist that resonates well with the savory profile. For the best texture, cook the dish until the broccoli reaches a perfect tenderness while still retaining a bit of crunch—it not only looks appetizing but also enhances the overall eating experience.
