... Read moreAs my wedding day approaches in just three months, it's incredible to reflect on how much has been accomplished, even when it sometimes feels overwhelming. One of the biggest lessons I've learned is the importance of balancing wedding prep with self-care. For example, prioritizing my personal fitness has been key—I teach Pilates but rarely had time to train myself, so I've started working out 3-4 times a week with running and Pilates classes, which helps me feel physically and mentally ready. Finding the perfect wedding attire has been both exciting and challenging. Though I've tried on many gowns, the search continues as I want something that truly feels 'me.' Thankfully, the groom's suit was custom made by The Feather House with fine Australian wool and tailored to perfection, and I highly recommend their service. I also dedicated time to sourcing bridesmaid dresses and finally booked the florist after some procrastination—getting these vendors secured early provides peace of mind. Additionally, planning the reception booth and booking a vendor for it are still works in progress but steadily moving forward. Creating our wedding website and sending out invites was a huge milestone, marking the official start of formal preparations. The whole journey so far has reinforced the value of celebrating the small victories and not letting perfectionism stall the process. If you're also in your final months of wedding prep, my advice is to acknowledge the progress you’ve made, maintain a healthy routine, and delegate what you can. This way, you can enjoy the countdown instead of stressing over every detail. Remember, this special time is about embracing the joy and excitement leading up to your big day.

8 months of tough pregnancy. 24/7. No breaks.
Hyperemesis Gravidarum took everything from me — my strength, my mobility, my comfort, even my ability to breathe, shower, drink, or sleep. But somehow… I survived it. This was losing myself for 8 months just to bring my baby safely into the world. HG broke me — but it didn’t beat me. To every

Quitting my job within 3 months
In my previous post I lamented about not being able to find a job… Well I eventually received 2 offers, and I chose to go with the one that offered higher compensation overall. I can tell you honestly that I knew within the first week that I disliked the place and wouldn’t be able to last.

Baby hospitalised at 7 months
We hear about RSV everywhere. 9 out of 10 babies get it and hospitalised. My fear turned true when my baby got Bronchiolitis caused by RSV when he was 7 months old. Honestly we don't know how he got infected because he hasn't gone to school yet but my suspicion was from a friend's

There was a version of me that felt stuck. Not just in my body… but in my mind. I remembered when there was a time when grocery shopping was a chore. Walking up a few flight of stairs would make me pant like it was someone who has done an hour of intense cardio. I smiled in photos, laughe
