Week 17 in my Hobonichi Weeks

Finals are coming up, and while stepping in as an interim manager, I’ve definitely been feeling the pressure. Lately, I’ve let go of the idea that everything in my journal or planner has to be perfectly aesthetic 🤍

This week, I’m keeping it simple—using green for a sense of serenity, with little leafy touches inspired by everything blooming around us. 🌿

My only real goal right now: keep going and study as much as I can.

I’m also planning to prep my spreads for the next two weeks today—just to give myself a small sense of being ahead ✨

Read moreManaging a busy schedule like preparing for finals while stepping into an interim manager role can feel overwhelming, but incorporating a Hobonichi Weeks planner helps maintain focus and calm. I’ve found that adopting a minimalistic and serene theme, such as using green hues and leafy accents, creates a peaceful planning environment that supports mental clarity. One strategy that works well is prioritizing your key goals—like dedicating time to studying—rather than stressing over having a perfectly decorated journal. This mindset shift reduces pressure and enhances productivity. Preparing your spreads a couple of weeks in advance can provide a reassuring sense of control and readiness for upcoming tasks. From personal experience, integrating small visual reminders of nature in your planner can be surprisingly uplifting. Simple drawings or stickers of leaves and plants, inspired by the changing seasons around you, turn planning into a mindful activity rather than a chore. Additionally, using the Hobonichi Weeks layout to track daily work, studies, and errands (as reflected in the OCR-recognized scheduling details like "Work 6-3" and "Study") ensures all responsibilities are visible and manageable. This holistic approach promotes balance, helping to navigate demanding times more smoothly. Embrace simplicity, focus on progress, and let your planner be a supportive tool rather than a source of stress.
