The weirdest thing I tried for better sleep
I’ve always been the kind of person who struggles to fall asleep. My brain doesn’t like to shut off — I’ll lie there tossing and turning, replaying the day, or planning tomorrow’s to-do list. By the time I finally fall asleep, it feels like the alarm goes off two minutes later.
Out of desperation, I decided to try chamomile tea. At first, I thought it was just another “grandma remedy,” but the warmth and calming smell actually helped me slow down. It didn’t magically knock me out, but it gave me that cozy, safe feeling that made falling asleep so much easier. 🌸
Now, chamomile tea is just one part of my nighttime routine. Some other things that really help me sleep better:
✨ Putting my phone away an hour before bed (no endless scrolling!)
✨ Writing down all my thoughts so they don’t spin in my head at night
✨ Playing calming sounds or white noise
✨ Keeping my room cool and dark
✨ Lighting a candle or using lavender spray on my pillow
It’s not perfect, I still have nights where I’m wide awake but these small habits add up and make a huge difference. 🌙
Be honest: what’s the weirdest (or simplest) thing you’ve tried to fall asleep? Tea, hacks, rituals… what works for YOU?

Chamomile tea is a lifesaver 😴! I also listen to rain sounds and put on a sleep mask. It's all about creating that chill vibe, right?
