I just saw your post about shutting down your home at night. This is what I woke up to in my kitchen this am.
I am a health car professional and by the time I get home at night I am exhausted mentally which turns into physical exhaustion. I don't do anything at night except make dinner and half the time it is take out. My weekends consist of cleaning and laundry. I do absolutely nothing for myself for self care.
My family and I talk about how waking up to a clean kitchen starts our day off on a positive note, but none of us do anything about it. It becomes an argument of.... that's not my stuff, I put my stuff away, if you can leave something out you shouldn't say anything to me when I leave something out!
Mini goal for the week.... Educate my family (husband and adult son that lives with us) on how to shut down our kitchen every night.
I'm laughing to myself thinking.... I may do a PIP on this! (process improvement plan).
