Because every morning is a jumbo coffee morning ☕️ 🍂

Saw this giant coffee cup wax warmer and immediately knew I needed to turn it into a Luke’s diner cup!

Tips for making your own:

☕️ sanding is optional but wanted to make sure the letters were completely flush before I painted on top

☕️ do not use acrylic craft paint! You want paint that’s specifically for ceramics and that heat resistant

☕️ print and trace the Luke’s diner logo if you need to. My freehand wasn’t good so I used my cricuit but normal printer paper will do too!

Let me know if you give this a try! 🤎

Wax warmers are a great alternative to candles, allowing you to enjoy your favorite scents safely without an open flame. When making a ceramic wax warmer inspired by the iconic Luke’s Diner mug, it’s important to choose the right materials to ensure durability and safety. Using heat-resistant ceramic paint rather than regular acrylic craft paint is essential since wax warmers can get warm during use. This prevents paint from chipping or discoloring due to heat exposure. Sanding the surface lightly before painting helps achieve a smooth and even finish, especially around raised or uneven lettering. If freehand painting intimidates you, simply print out the Luke’s Diner logo and use tracing paper or a Cricut cutting machine to transfer the design accurately. For extra creativity, you can personalize your warmer with fall-themed colors or add small embellishments like faux leaves or mini coffee beans to enhance that cozy jumbo coffee morning vibe. Wax melts are available in a variety of scents such as pumpkin spice, vanilla latte, or cinnamon, perfect complements to your themed decor. Lastly, these DIY warmers make thoughtful handmade gifts for Gilmore Girls fans or coffee lovers who appreciate nostalgic, charming home accents. Whether displayed in a kitchen nook or living room, this project combines fandom with functional decor, enriching your fall and coffee moments.
