Holiday in NYC 2025 -Dec 14,2025
I always love Christmas time in the city! Seeing all the decorations! Here are some highlights from my town holiday trip into the city. It’s my first time going! It’s was a very nice time. I really love going back on a warm bus after exploring!
First stop- Chelsea market. 1.5 hour.
The market could be done in 30mins. Chelsea market is an indoor market that’s has international stores. It’s a two floor filled with expensive stores! And food court.
Second spot- Brookfield plaza mall 1 hour.
Mostly for lunch. Completely disappointed other than the weird palm tree it’s just a mall.
3rd stop- Bryant Park 2hrs
Usually it’s take me 30mins to 1 hour for Bryant park.
I love Bryant park Christmas market. So many things to see and in walking distance to others things.
Last stop- Rockefeller center 2hrs.
On Dec.14 for the first time in forever 5th Ave became car free as no cars were allowed to drive down 5th from 59 st to 47 st. During the day they had parade, music, food trucks as well as pop up. Sadly by the time my tour group got there we only had 20 minutes left before they open the road again. I had a lot of fun and got good photos.
Other awesome stuff: I notice that nyc had more mini Christmas markets this year. I would love to try to visit the others before they end/closed. Especially Macy Christmas markets and grand central stations Christmas markets. We had a lovely warm bus with a bathroom which was very nice after exploring. I made a couple friends on the tours. It’s was a lovely day out, nice to have a holiday vibe day. 🎄🎅🏻🛍️
I would love to head back into the city before the next holiday decorations start. This holiday season seems to be off and different in USA especially with the depression things going on. I’m happy to have gone on this trip. It’s the best way to view the holiday lights. Little tip I would start early to go to certain places. Always check times, and events on weekends to make sure you get do what you want. Happy Holidays Everyone!
