Dollar Tree & Burlington Finds

Found the jackpot for the cherry and blueberry hand sanitizer sprays.

If you have kids in school this rosemary hair protection is a must!! It helps keep lice away and I’ll take $1.25 a bottle over $12+ a bottle at Walmart and other stores. My daughter got lice twice at the end of last year (she was lice free for a month and got it again after I let her play in the bouncy houses at our community day with her classmates) and when school started up they sent home letters saying they are still having issues. I spray my kids hair everyday before they go to school and check every day when they get home. My daughter is one of the only kids in her class who haven’t gotten it this year.

... Read moreOkay, so you loved hearing about my Dollar Tree lice spray hack, but let's be real, the thrill of finding a fantastic deal at places like Dollar Tree or even Burlington isn't just about saving money – it's about uncovering those hidden gems that make your life easier or add a little sparkle without breaking the bank! I know those "dollar store in Burlington" searches are real, and while my specific lice spray find was at Dollar Tree, the spirit of smart, budget-friendly shopping applies to so many discount retailers. Beyond those amazing cherry and blueberry hand sanitizer sprays and that miracle rosemary hair protection, my recent trips have opened my eyes to a whole world of practical and fun items. For example, have you checked out their beauty and personal care aisles lately? I've spotted some fantastic skincare items, like brightening eye creams with kale and vitamin C, and even vitality serums that feel way more luxurious than their price tag. And for hair care, besides the lice spray, I’ve found rosemary and biotin hair thickening mists and even rice water hair shining mists – perfect for experimenting without a huge investment. Don't forget those scented body mists and hydrating body cleansers (hello, vanilla sugar and cherry kiss scents!) that are often dupes for much pricier brands. There was even a microbiome balancing intimate spray I saw that looked super promising! It's not just about toiletries either. I'm always on the lookout for home decor accents. Those ornate, gold-colored decorative mirrors I found recently? They instantly elevated a small corner in my hallway, and no one would guess they were dollar store finds! So, how do you maximize your discount store shopping trips, whether it's Dollar Tree, Burlington, or another local gem? Here are my top tips: Go Often, Go Early: Stock changes rapidly! The best finds disappear fast. I try to pop in once a week, usually right after they restock. Inspect Carefully: Discounted doesn't mean damaged! Always check expiration dates on food/beauty items, and examine packaging, seams, and functionality on other products. Think Outside the Box: A clear spray bottle meant for cleaning might be perfect for DIY hair treatments. Small containers can be great for organizing. Those cute decorative mirrors aren't just for walls – try leaning them on a shelf for an aesthetic touch. Look for 'Dupes': Many Dollar Tree items are fantastic dupes for higher-end brands, especially in beauty and home organization. The body mists, for instance, often smell incredibly similar to popular fragrances. Seasonal & Party Supplies: This is where Dollar Tree truly shines. From holiday decorations to party favors, you can deck out your events without breaking the bank. While my haul specifically highlighted Dollar Tree, remember that stores like Burlington also offer incredible savings on clothing, home goods, and even some beauty products. The key is to have a keen eye and enjoy the hunt! Happy shopping, fellow bargain hunters! What are some of your favorite discount store finds?
