Cherry Blossom Festival, DC 🌸
We arrives in the morning from NYC, so we went straight to Georgetown for breakfast and coffee at famous 📍Call Your Mother Deli 🥯☕️
From there we took a pretty long but very nice walk towards Lincoln Memorial.
It was a first beautiful sunny day after long time, so seems like everybody decided to come out! ☀️
We continued the walk towards Tidal Basin where the Festival starts. It was PACKED! You couldn’t move and unfortunately you couldn’t stop somewhere or sit to enjoy the view and to admire the trees. 🌸
We took some very nice photos and bought slushies to co cool down🥤
We walked to 📍Thomas Jefferson Memorial and ended our your at 📍Washingon Monument.
It was a lovely day and a very nice experience. I would say - once in a lifetime! 🌸 Would I go again? Probably not 🙂 The trees are magnificent, but there are many parks and botanical gardens where you can admire them 💕
