You’re stronger than your trauma. Unfortunately, pain and traumatic experiences can manifest themselves in different ways, but you have to realize that forcing everyone else to justify self harming behaviors, just keeps you in a low vibration. You’re meant to live operating at your highest physically, mentally, and spiritually. And while there may be bullies and people who do not have your interest at heart, you have to be be real with yourself. Sometimes saying “I can do better,” is how you show yourself that you really love YOU. Always seek to be your best. And if you aren’t, you may be standing in your own way.
Healing from trauma often feels like an uphill battle, but it's crucial to remember that your trauma isn't a permanent state — it's a part of your history, not your future. From personal experience, I found that acknowledging pain without letting it define me is the first step toward recovery. Trauma keeps us in survival mode, which often causes us to engage in self-destructive behaviors as a coping mechanism. One effective way to break this cycle is by gradually shifting your mindset from victimhood to empowerment. Practicing daily affirmations such as "I can do better" helped me to reconnect with my inner strength and reaffirm that I deserve a life beyond pain. Surrounding yourself with supportive people and seeking professional help can also create a safe space to heal. Spiritually, meditation and mindfulness practices can raise your vibration and anchor you in the present moment, reducing anxiety and promoting self-love. It's also important to be vigilant about the company you keep; distancing yourself from negative influences or 'bullies' who do not have your well-being in mind is empowering. Physically, engaging in regular exercise, even if it’s gentle like walking or yoga, rejuvenates the body and mind, reminding you that wellness is a holistic journey. Remember, standing in your own way often means hesitating to embrace change — but pushing through that fear is where real growth happens. Ultimately, trauma may want to keep you stuck in survival mode, but you have the power to choose growth and self-compassion. Recognize your strength, be patient with yourself, and commit to living at your highest potential.
