The "Statue of Unity" is the tallest monument in the world today, located in Gujarat, India, built in honor of Sardar Vallabha Bhai Pratl, a statesman who played a key role in the unification of India after British independence.
The statue is 182 meters high, and the base will reach 240 meters, twice the height of the Statue of Liberty, and clearly surpass the record of the world's highest statue. The statue was nicknamed the "Iron Man of India" for its decisiveness and ability to negotiate, so that it can successfully unite more than 562 states into the Indian Union.
Architecturally, the interior structure uses steel and reinforced concrete, the exterior part is lined with an enormous amount of copper plates, designed by the famous Indian sculptor Ram V.Sutar, conveying the calm, stable and simple personality typical of yardstick.
