Huawei MatePad 11.5 S Review from UX / UI Designer View
In the past, I tried the Huawei MatePad 11.5 S as the main machine in many situations. UX / UI design, open Figma through the web, code through VSCode.dev, use ChatGPT, online meetings, and multiple windows at once.
I have to say, this is not a Benchmark or Gamer line review, but a review from the corner of a "real worker" who wants a fast, fluent and easy-to-carry Workflow.
The first thing it feels is "slippery."
The system runs quite quickly, opening multiple apps at once well. Switching windows is much more slippery than previously thought, especially when running with Keyboard.
The screen is considered the hallmark of this machine.
Sharp image, beautiful color, easy to read and continuous use, comfortable to the eye, suitable for design, see Reference or open documents for a long time.
Another point I like is the horizontal front camera.
Online meeting time will feel like a real laptop. The picture angle looks natural and more suitable for working than normal tablet.
Practical aspects
I tried to open Figma through the web, VSCode.dev and ChatGPT at the same time, which the machine can do at a practical level, exceeding expectations for Tablet.
But there are still some points that feel a total replacement for computers.
For example, some Figma presentation times are not as complete as Desktop and the floating window Popup system. Scroll or move the screen, sometimes with a new Reload, causing Workflow to stumble.
The other is Keyboard.
Despite making it more convenient to run, the absence of a Trackpad makes some strokes also active, polishing, especially when having to manage multiple windows simultaneously.
Battery part. If used, it's okay.
But if you open multiple apps, work hard, or keep high brightness on, the battery will reduce quite quickly.
Summary for me
Huawei MatePad 11.5 S Non Tablet for "Just Watching Movies"
But it's a Productivity Device that fits more and more modern workers.
Fits:
* Student / student
* Creator line
* UX / UI
* Document worker
* People who use AI and work primarily through the web.
But if you work very hard on a design or use a full Workflow Desktop every day, you may still need a main computer.
Overall, I think it's a "practical" tablet.
And a much closer laptop experience than I thought.
จากประสบการณ์การใช้งาน Huawei MatePad 11.5 S ล่าสุด ผมรู้สึกประทับใจในความลื่นไหลและความรวดเร็วในการทำงานร่วมกับ Keyboard มากกว่าที่คาดคิด การแบ่งหน้าจอและหน้าต่างลอย (Multi-Window) ช่วยให้เปิดหลายแอปได้พร้อมกันโดยไม่มีสะดุด ช่วยเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพโดยเฉพาะในการใช้งาน Figma ผ่านเว็บและ VSCode.dev ที่สำคัญคือการใช้งาน ChatGPT เพื่อช่วยคิดไอเดีย ก็ทำได้อย่างลื่นไหลดีมาก ส่วนหน้าจอที่เปรียบเสมือนหัวใจหลักของแท็บเล็ตนี้ คมชัด สีสวยและสบายตา เหมาะมากสำหรับการทำงานออกแบบ UX/UI หรือการเปิดเอกสารอ่านยาว ๆ แถมกล้องหน้าวางในแนวนอน ช่วยให้ประชุมออนไลน์ได้มุมภาพที่ดูเป็นธรรมชาติ คล้ายกับการใช้งานบน Laptop แต่ในมุมของการทำงานจริงยังมีจุดที่ควรพิจารณา เช่น เวลาใช้งาน Figma บางฟีเจอร์ยังไม่สมบูรณ์เท่าบน Desktop และมีปัญหา Popup รีโหลดซ้ำเมื่อต้องเลื่อนหรือขยับหน้าจอ ซึ่งส่งผลให้ Workflow ถูกสะดุดบ้าง นอกจากนี้ Keyboard ถึงจะช่วยให้พิมพ์งานได้ดี แต่ยังขาด Trackpad ซึ่งบางครั้งก็ทำให้อายัดเวลาต้องจัดการหลายหน้าต่างพร้อมกัน ในด้านแบตเตอรี่ ถ้าใช้งานเบา ๆ เช่น เปิดเอกสารหรือประชุมออนไลน์จะเพียงพอ แต่ถ้าเปิดหลายแอปพร้อมกันหรือใช้ความสว่างหน้าจอสูง จะสังเกตเห็นระดับแบตเตอรี่ลดลงเร็วกว่าปกติ ซึ่งตรงนี้ต้องบริหารจัดการให้ดีในแต่ละวัน สรุปคือ Huawei MatePad 11.5 S ไม่ใช่แท็บเล็ตสำหรับแค่ดูหนังหรือเล่นเกม แต่เป็น Productivity Device ที่ตอบโจทย์การทำงานยุคใหม่ เหมาะกับนักเรียน นักศึกษา สาย Creator และคนที่ใช้ AI ผ่านเว็บเป็นหลัก หากคุณต้องการแท็บเล็ตสำหรับงานออกแบบหรือทำงานเอกสารทั่วไป จะได้ประสบการณ์ใช้งานที่ใกล้เคียง Laptop มากขึ้นอย่างน่าประทับใจ แต่สำหรับงานดีไซน์หนักหรือการใช้ Workflow แบบ Desktop เต็มรูปแบบ ยังแนะนำให้มีคอมพิวเตอร์หลักควบคู่ไปด้วย
