Hey everyone, so thrilled to share more about my very first mini-comic here on Lemon8! If you're into original characters, fantasy stories, and a good dose of mystery, you're in the right place. I've always loved bringing my OCs to life, and this little two-panel piece is just the beginning of a bigger story I'm cooking up. Let's dive into the characters you see in the comic. On the top panel, we have my annoyed white-haired man with piercing green eyes, caught in what looks like a library. He's wearing a distinctive red and white outfit with a gold brooch, hinting at a noble or perhaps scholarly background. What's vexing him so much? That's part of the mystery! He seems to be in a precarious situation, perhaps a captive or under some sort of magical influence already. Then, in the bottom panel, we meet the formidable red-haired woman with striking purple eyes. She's got this absolutely smirking expression, holding up a shimmering purple potion – definitely not something you'd want to drink without knowing the consequences! Her green dress and braids give her an ancient, powerful sorceress vibe. And her words, "YOU KNOW WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF YOU DON'T LISTEN...", are the real kicker, right? They imply a powerful coercion, a challenge, and a looming change. Behind her, we catch a reflection of a crowned man, adding another layer of intrigue. Is he the target? Is he the one who "won't listen"? The idea for this comic actually came from exploring themes of power, choice, and transformation in my fantasy world. I'm fascinated by stories where characters undergo significant changes, not just physically, but in their roles or destinies. The 'purple potion' is central to this – it's a classic trope, but I love giving it a twist, making it less about a simple spell and more about a pivotal moment with serious implications. When I think about art that delves into transformations, like some of the creative 'TF submissions' you see online, it really sparks my imagination for how I can convey drastic shifts in a narrative. It's about showing a character's journey through a magical or life-altering event. Creating a mini-comic like this is a fun challenge because you have to tell a compelling story with very few panels. For this piece, I wanted to set up a dramatic scene that leaves you wondering: What kind of transformation is the sorceress threatening? Is it a shift in power, a change in appearance, or something even more profound for the crowned man?
