Aarburg Switzerland: A Hidden Fortress Town

My Swiss adventure unexpectedly led me to Aarburg Castle, a place that instantly felt like a well-kept secret. It makes for an ideal quick stop or a relaxed day trip, easily fitting into a wider itinerary. If you're planning a visit, I'd highly recommend aiming for May to October. The weather during these months is generally more reliable, allowing you to fully enjoy the outdoor spaces and the town’s seasonal activities. And for those who love live music, keep an eye out for the annual open-air rock festival in August – imagine listening to bands with a historic castle as your backdrop!
