Sunday Planning + Reset — Episode 5 🤎✨

Another Sunday spent getting our family ready for the week ahead. We had a slower Sunday around the house, so I caught up on the kitchen, looked over our schedule for the week, tackled a few areas that needed some attention and, of course, made Sunday dinner. 🤎

I really love having this time on Sundays to get things back in order before Monday rolls around. It makes such a difference going into a new week feeling prepared.

But now I need to know… when are y’all decorating for fall?! 👀🍂 Are we starting now or waiting until September? 😂

As a parent of a family of five, I’ve found that this intentional downtime lets me address both household tasks and my own mental preparation for busy weekdays. For example, catching up on the kitchen means not only tidying counters but also prepping meals or ingredients, which saves valuable time on weeknights. I also find that reviewing the schedule—whether it’s kids' activities like gymnastics on Wednesdays, school commitments, or personal appointments—helps me avoid last-minute stress. Slower Sundays around the house are perfect for tackling minor things that tend to pile up unnoticed during the week, like organizing cluttered drawers or setting out clothes for Monday. This practice of a home reset encourages calmness and gives me a fresh start each week. It’s interesting how just a few simple actions can significantly improve my productivity and mindset. As for seasonal decorating, I resonate with the fun debate about when to put up fall decor. Personally, I like to wait until September, but seeing early fall accents on social media makes it tempting to start earlier! Sharing these traditions with other moms and connecting over Sunday resets and family routines has created a supportive community. I recommend anyone looking to improve their week to try out a Sunday routine—it can truly transform how you approach each day.
