Empath Confession 🍋

My biggest red flag?

I forget how people treated me as soon as they start being nice again.

It’s not because I don’t remember the pain… it’s because my heart is wired for hope.

I see the good in people. I hold onto their potential.

And the moment someone softens, I soften too.

But here’s the truth I’m learning:

Just because someone’s tone changes doesn’t mean their patterns have.

Kind words don’t erase cruel actions.

And being an empath doesn’t mean I have to keep reopening the door just because someone knocked nicely this time.

I’m allowed to love with my whole heart and protect it too.
