Trader Joe’s flowers 🌸🌸
You guys, if you're not already obsessed with the flowers at Trader Joe's, you're seriously missing out! I swear, every time I walk in, I have to check out their floral section. My husband even teases me because I'm always bringing home some new bloom. He called one of my latest finds a 'weird hairy flower' – he was talking about a stunning Protea I picked up for just $12.99! But honestly, that's part of the charm. Trader Joe's offers such unique, beautiful, and affordable flower types that you can't help but fall in love. One of the reasons I love TJ's flowers so much is the incredible variety and value. You can grab a gorgeous bouquet for under $15, which is almost impossible to find elsewhere. I’ve discovered so many amazing Trader Joe's flower types that constantly inspire me. Let's talk about some of my absolute favorites and what makes them special: Peonies: Oh, when peony season hits, it's a mad dash! Trader Joe's often has the most beautiful, full peonies in various shades. They’re classic, elegant, and instantly elevate any room. My tip? Get them when they’re still mostly closed, and watch them burst open over a few days – pure magic! Protea: This is the 'weird hairy flower' my husband mentioned, and yes, it's totally unique! Proteas are incredibly striking with their exotic, almost architectural look. They're surprisingly long-lasting and make a bold statement, whether alone or mixed into a bouquet. They truly add an unexpected touch to any arrangement. Eucalyptus & Other Greens: Don't overlook the greens! Trader Joe's always has fresh eucalyptus, ruscus, and other leafy options. These are perfect for adding texture and fragrance to your DIY bouquets, or simply for a minimalistic, fresh look on their own. They make your flowers last longer and fill out any vase beautifully. Classic Roses & Carnations: While I love unique finds, sometimes you just want a classic. TJ's roses and carnations are always fresh, vibrant, and incredibly well-priced. They come in so many colors, making it easy to match any decor or mood. Seasonal Wonders: Depending on the time of year, you can find a rotating selection of stunning seasonal flower types. Think bright tulips and daffodils in spring, sunny sunflowers and hydrangeas in summer, and rich lilies or mums in fall. It's always exciting to see what new blooms they have. Mixed Bouquets: For those times when you want something beautiful without having to arrange it yourself, their pre-made mixed bouquets are fantastic. They often feature an interesting mix of textures and colors, and you can always add a stem of something extra like a Protea or some eucalyptus to personalize it. When picking out your flowers, always look for firm stems and vibrant colors. Give the arrangement a little shake – if petals fall off, they might not be the freshest. Once home, trim the stems at an angle, remove any leaves that will sit below the waterline, and put them in fresh water right away. Changing the water every day or two will significantly extend their life. Bringing home a fresh bouquet from Trader Joe's is one of my favorite little treats. It instantly brightens my space and lifts my spirits. What are your favorite Trader Joe's flower types to pick up? I'd love to hear your recommendations!
