Just a lil self care video.
The book mentioned in the beginning of the video is a great read if you are more of a masculine dominant person in energy, and even if you just love a masculine presenting/dominate folks in your life. The book says Man, but I think after reading it, it can be applied to people with just more masculine energy. To be honest, reading any book by Bell Hooks is great. My favorite book by Bell Hooks is all about love. I recommend you reading that one first. This video I filmed a while ago when I was going through a very rough breakup and it was the first day I decided to get up on my feet again. And get myself together.

Self-care is essential for maintaining mental and emotional health, particularly after challenging experiences such as breakups. One method that many find helpful is reading. Books can offer unique perspectives, solace, and guidance, providing comfort in tough times. For instance, Bell Hooks’ works focus on love, connection, and understanding, making them invaluable resources for anyone on a path of self-discovery and healing. In a world that often prioritizes hustle over health, taking time for oneself can be revolutionary. Incorporating self-care practices into daily routines may involve reading, meditating, or other nurturing activities. It’s imperative to prioritize mental wellness through proactive strategies. Activities like journaling, interspersed with insightful reading, can help reflect on personal growth and emotions. The hashtag #selfcare captures a broader movement toward prioritizing personal wellness, leading individuals to explore various resources and communities focused on health and wellness. Whether you seek guidance through literature or find relief through other forms of self-care, remember it’s essential to take each step at your pace. Embrace the journey and allow yourself the grace to heal, knowing that every effort contributes toward creating a healthier, happier self.
