Why I've Always Wanted To Model 💖

From a young age, I was always had an artistic eye for things some people wouldn't acknowledge. When I moved to the small town I lived in, I started school, got to make new friends along the way, but something I cherished so deeply within my heart was getting in an after school acting camp. The friends I made in this portion of my life was probably the most amazing people I've ever met. Throughout my young acting career, a bunch of my friends were interested in modeling. I've never really been confident of myself in a modeling scene. I suffered a lot from depression and anxiety because of my body. Within the years, I had built more confidence in myself, which was from the help of my parents and my amazing director when acting as a kid. I would always be humbled from the compliments they'd cheer at me. After being authentically myself after coming out to friends and family, I started trying to become more confident in my body, I would excercise more to fit my own standards of what I think was beautiful for me. I was always subconsciously worried about what people would think of my looks, but soon realized, the truth of being a "model" is to be the person others look up to and might get inspired by to become more like themselves. I've always wanted to fight for LGBTQ+ and trans awareness if I were to ever get into it. being able to express yourself freely is something everyone yearns for. Don't let yourself believe that you can't do it, if you can think it, you CAN do it. Let your own creative eye flow, lose yourself in your imagination! I will always work harder to make my dreams come true, and you should too

... Read moreModeling is not just about appearance; it's about confidence and self-expression. Many individuals struggle with self-image, especially in industries like fashion where societal standards can be daunting. Building self-assurance requires time, support, and introspection. It’s crucial for aspiring models to find their unique voice and style, encouraging authenticity and individuality. Participating in supportive communities—whether through acting, workshops, or social media—can significantly bolster confidence and foster connections with like-minded individuals. Additionally, increasing representation of diverse body types and backgrounds in modeling is essential. Advocating for LGBTQ+ rights and trans visibility is integral to building a inclusive environment in the fashion world. By sharing stories and experiences, we can inspire others to embrace their true selves and follow their passions, proving that with perseverance and creativity, goals are achievable. Remember, confidence is built from within, and it's important to surround yourself with support. Whether you're looking at modeling as a career or a form of creative expression, your worth is defined by who you are, not by how you look. Stay true to yourself, pursue your dreams, and advocate for inclusivity in the industry!
