New vanilla perfume
Phlur recently came out with a perfume version of their Vanilla Skin body spray (which I've never tried before), and I just had to get my nose on this.
This is such a beautiful, nostalgic, skin like fragrance. Phlur does such an amazing job at capturing this feeling of familiarity and comfort in their fragrances, and Vanilla Skin does just that. However, just like the other phlur fragrances that I own, they do not last long on me. I'd say they last a good 2-3 hrs then poof it's gone. With that being said, I think I'll purchase the bigger bottle anyway as a daily fragrance.

When I first sniffed Phlur Vanilla Skin, I was immediately curious about the magic behind its 'skin-like' allure. After looking into it, the notes truly tell a story. The initial burst of Sugar Crystals gives it that irresistible, slightly gourmand sweetness without being cloying. It’s like a warm, comforting hug right from the start, making you feel enveloped in a soft, sweet cloud. Of course, Vanilla is the undeniable star, but it's not your typical sugary, cupcake vanilla. This vanilla feels sophisticated, almost like a second skin. It blends seamlessly with your natural scent, making you feel naturally alluring rather than heavily perfumed. It’s a grown-up vanilla, comforting yet elegant. Then there's the intriguing hint of Pink Pepper. This subtle spice adds a delicate warmth and a touch of vibrancy, preventing the fragrance from becoming too flat or overly sweet. It gives it a slight edge, a spark that keeps it interesting and adds a modern twist to the classic vanilla. As it settles, the base notes of Sandalwood and Cashmere Wood emerge, creating that incredibly soft, creamy, and truly 'skin-like' dry down. This woody warmth is what gives it that comforting, nostalgic feeling I mentioned earlier. It’s like wrapping yourself in a cozy blanket on a chilly evening, a scent that whispers rather than shouts. I know some reviews, including my own initial thoughts, mention the longevity isn't eternal, perhaps around 2-3 hours on my skin. But here’s a little trick I’ve picked up: applying it to moisturized skin, especially after a shower, really helps it cling longer. I also love to layer it with an unscented lotion or even a subtle vanilla body oil to extend that beautiful scent throughout the day. For those looking for an all-day effect, reapplying with the convenient rollerball (like the one I have!) is a breeze and makes it perfect for a quick refresh during work or before an evening out. What I adore most about Phlur Vanilla Skin is its incredible versatility. It’s not just a winter scent; the lightness of the Sugar Crystals and Pink Pepper makes it wearable even on warmer days, while the Vanilla, Sandalwood, and Cashmere Wood give it enough depth for cooler seasons. It truly feels like a signature scent candidate – subtle enough for the office, cozy enough for a casual weekend, and intimate enough for a special evening. It truly embodies that 'smell good' vibe without being overpowering. The magic truly lies in how Phlur captures that sense of familiarity and comfort. It doesn't remind me of a specific memory, but rather a universal feeling of warmth and well-being. It's the kind of scent that draws people closer, making them wonder what smells so good without being able to pinpoint it. It's more of an aura than a statement perfume, and that's precisely why I find myself reaching for it so often. Despite its moderate longevity, the beauty of this fragrance lies in its ability to be a consistent source of comfort. It’s not meant to project across a room for hours; it’s a personal indulgence, a soft embrace you carry with you. For someone like me who loves to feel subtly put-together and enveloped in a warm, inviting aroma, Phlur Vanilla Skin has become an indispensable part of my daily routine. It's a testament to a truly well-crafted FRAGRANCE Review that sometimes, the most beautiful scents are the ones that whisper rather than shout.

I am a Vaniila Chica, too. I. Going to try this. Thank you for sharing.🥰
