The scent is creamy and sugary sweet. This blend reminds me of a deeper and richer Tahitian vanilla.
I used it tonight after my shower, and babyyyy, the scent projects so well! I'm so happy I stumbled upon this.
I loved it so much that I bought all 3 bottles that were left on the shelves.
Have you tried any DW body lotions? what are your favorites? pmo

Okay, so after getting totally hooked on the DW Home Vanilla Bean Body Lotion, I just had to dive deeper and share everything I've learned. It's not just the amazing scent; these lotions are seriously underrated! First off, let's talk about the texture. It’s rich and creamy without feeling greasy. I hate lotions that just sit on top of your skin, but this one sinks right in, leaving my skin feeling so soft and hydrated all day. For a 16 oz bottle, especially at the $6.99 price point I found it at (shoutout to TJ Maxx!), you're getting incredible value. It feels way more luxurious than its price tag. Now, about that Vanilla Bean scent… it’s truly something special. The original post described it as creamy and sugary sweet, like a deeper Tahitian vanilla, and that’s spot on. But after using it more, I've picked up on even more nuances. The label hints at notes like creamy vodka, buttercream frosting, spun sugar, and even spices – and you can definitely tell that this isn't just a flat, one-note vanilla. It has this incredible warmth and depth. Imagine a freshly baked sugary vanilla caramel cookie, still warm from the oven, with a subtle hint of something cozy and spiced. It’s sweet, yes, but sophisticated, not cloying. It truly makes my skin smell like a 'dreamy room,' if that makes sense! It's the perfect creamy vanilla lotion for anyone who loves gourmand scents but wants something a little extra. Want to make that gorgeous scent last even longer? Here are a few tricks I use: Layering is Key: After your shower, while your skin is still a little damp, apply the lotion liberally. The moisture helps to lock in the fragrance. Pair with a Vanilla Body Wash: If you have a matching vanilla body wash or even a neutral one, use that first. Target Pulse Points: Don't forget to apply a little extra to your wrists, neck, and behind your ears. The warmth of your body helps diffuse the scent throughout the day. Lock it in: Sometimes, I'll even spray a light, complementary vanilla body mist over top after the lotion has fully absorbed. This isn't always necessary with how well the DW Home lotion projects, but it's a fun extra step! Finding these gems can be part of the fun! While I snagged mine at TJ Maxx, I've heard people find DW Home lotions at Marshall's, HomeGoods, and sometimes even online retailers that specialize in discounted home goods. It’s worth checking their websites or even calling your local stores. Keep an eye out for seasonal releases too; DW Home often has limited-edition scents that are just as divine. If you're on the hunt for the perfect creamy vanilla body lotion, definitely give DW Home a try. Beyond the Vanilla Bean, I'm now curious to explore their other offerings! What other DW Home body lotion scents have you tried and loved? Share your favorites below – I'm always looking for my next obsession!
