NEW Rare Beauty - Perfume

I just for her her today, she's cute to look at and the bottle feels pleasant.

As for the fragrance itself:

i expected a

something sweet, gourmand and decadent because of the notes. The sandalwood is quite loud, and i did not get much caramel. It does have great longevity.

I dont know if I'll keep this one 🤔.

have you tried the new Rare Beauty Rare perfume? let me know what you think of it.

... Read moreOkay, so I've spent a bit more time with the new Rare Beauty Rare Eau De Parfum, and I wanted to share a deeper dive into my experience, especially since so many of you are curious about the notes and how it truly wears! When I first heard about this fragrance, my mind immediately conjured up images of warm vanilla ice cream and gooey caramel, especially with those notes being highlighted. I was picturing a truly gourmand, comforting scent, perfect for cooler evenings. Upon the first spray, it's definitely a unique experience. While I did pick up a hint of sweetness, the dominant note for me was undeniably sandalwood. It's a very prominent, almost creamy-woody sandalwood, which gives the perfume a sophisticated and grounding edge. If you're someone who adores sandalwood in fragrances, this might be a pleasant surprise for you, even if you were initially hoping for a caramel bomb. I found the caramel to be quite subtle, almost playing a supporting role in the background rather than being a star player that jumps out immediately. This makes it less of a typical dessert-like fragrance and more of an elegant, woody-gourmand blend that evolves beautifully on the skin. One thing that truly stands out and matches the claims is the incredible longevity. I've tested it on various days, both indoors and outdoors, and this perfume genuinely lasts. I'm talking about impressive 12-hour longevity, where I can still catch whiffs of it by the end of my workday, or even faint traces the next morning on clothing. It clings beautifully to both skin and fabrics without being overpowering or cloying. This is a huge plus for those who prefer long-lasting scents and don't want to worry about reapplying throughout the day. It settles into a soft, warm, and slightly powdery base that's quite comforting and luxurious. And can we talk about the bottle? The design is so sleek and minimalist, yet feels very premium, making it a beautiful addition to any vanity. The ergonomic design mentioned definitely comes through; it feels perfectly balanced and lovely in hand, substantial yet elegant. It's clear a lot of thoughtful consideration went into the entire presentation, from the aesthetic appeal to the promise of a long-lasting fragrance experience. It perfectly embodies the "Rare" aesthetic. While it wasn't the overtly sweet, decadent gourmand I initially envisioned, I'm finding myself appreciating its unique character more and more. It's a sophisticated scent with a strong woody core, elegantly softened by subtle sweetness and exceptional staying power. If you're looking for a warm, inviting, and long-lasting fragrance that leans more woody and refined than overtly sugary, you might just fall in love with the Rare Beauty Rare Eau De Parfum. It could be a fantastic choice for cooler weather, cozy nights in, or an elegant evening out. It definitely sparks conversation! Have you tried it yet, and what were your thoughts on how the vanilla, caramel, and sandalwood notes played out for you?
