It’s important to recognize the difference between genuine support and those seeking financial gain without mutual respect. I learned early on to communicate clearly about what I am comfortable with and to protect my personal and financial space. Using social media, I’ve connected with many wonderful people who genuinely support my work without expecting anything in return. However, it's essential to be cautious about individuals who might exploit your generosity, often labeled as “users.” Setting firm boundaries has helped me maintain a healthy environment for both myself and my community. If you find yourself overwhelmed by unwanted demands or feel pressured by groupies or fans, remember that it’s okay to say no and prioritize your well-being. Embracing blessings doesn't mean allowing everyone full access to your time or finances. Protecting yourself helps sustain long-term positive relationships and keeps your creative energy focused. Ultimately, celebrating blessings while responsibly navigating relationships with fans and groupies requires awareness and balance.
