Zestimates are often misleading as they rely on algorithms that lack the nuanced understanding of individual properties. Zillow's estimate doesn't consider upgrades, the condition of the home, or local market trends. For instance, two homes on the same street can have drastically different values based on renovations or maintenance. In Frederick County, it's common to see Zestimates that are thousands off, whether too high or too low. To truly understand your home's market value, reaching out for a personalized market analysis is essential. Algorithms cannot replace real data.
