This part is why I didn’t give the book 5 stars, I honestly had a good time reading it, the vibes were giving.

But my biggest pet peeves in books are when theirs a breakup and they use their insecurities against them, even if it’s to protect the other, I just can’t stand it.

I understand that these books are fictional and it’s not real but like many others that do this, I like to imagine myself as the FMC sometimes and I personally wouldn’t go back to someone who used my insecurities against me like that even if it’s to protect me.
