Lyvia is back!
Drew Lyvia, my OC!
Succubi don’t usually eat humans... but this one does. Only the cute ones, though!
So if you’re ugly, you’re safe. Moral of the story: don’t be hot.
I’m really happy with how this turned out! I was nervous about using blue for the background, but it ended up working perfectly with her colors. Definitely one of my best pieces so far!

Creating an original character (OC) like Drew Lyvia offers an exciting opportunity to explore creativity and storytelling through art. What I find fascinating about Lyvia is how she challenges typical succubus lore—usually, succubi are portrayed as seductive beings who feed on humans, but Lyvia flips this idea with a humorous twist: she only 'eats' the attractive ones. This playful concept adds depth and personality to the character, making her stand out in the fantasy art community. When working on Lyvia's design, the choice of background color is crucial in setting the mood and making the character pop. At first, I was hesitant to use blue because it can sometimes create a cold atmosphere, but combined with Lyvia’s vibrant colors, it brought a striking contrast that enhances her presence. This experience taught me the importance of experimenting with color palettes to see how they affect the overall composition and emotional impact of the artwork. From a creative perspective, developing OCs like Lyvia encourages thinking beyond stereotypes and invites artists to infuse humor and personal flair into their characters. It also opens opportunities for storytelling: for instance, what would Lyvia’s interactions with humans be like? How does her selective 'diet' shape her relationships and adventures? Sharing OCs with communities through hashtags like #drawing, #inkdrawing, and #originalart not only helps gain feedback but also connects you with fellow artists who appreciate unique creations. Incorporating elements seen in the artwork’s OCR text, such as playful denials about eating humans, adds charm and personality to the character’s narrative voice. It reflects how visual art and textual elements work together to build a fuller picture of Lyvia’s identity. For artists or writers looking to develop their own OCs, blending visual appeal with clever backstory details can greatly enhance character engagement and memorability.

Shes so cute! It's refreshing to see something human made on here for once
