Inktober Day 1! ✒️
Starting off Inktober with something different.
This is Kaia Volt, one of my newer OCs! She's a rather ambitious little android, and I've been meaning to give her some more attention lately. Figured Inktober would be the perfect excuse to finally do that!
It's also been a while since I've sat down and drawn something using nothing but ink. I've gotten so comfortable with my markers and adding color to everything that going back to plain black and white feels a little weird. Not in a bad way, though. It's actually pretty nice returning to my roots.
Which is funny, considering my bio still says I'm a black-and-white artist. Guess it wasn't lying after all. 😂
For this year's Inktober, I'm challenging myself to stick to just pen and paper for the entire month. No colors, no markers, just good old ink and whatever I can manage to put on the page.
31 days of this. What could possibly go wrong? 💀
Anyway, enough rambling! Here's Kaia! Hope you guys like her, and happy Inktober!!!
