Phra Si Maha Bodhi, Prachinburi Province
During the New Year, I traveled to Buddha, India, in the shade of a tree, the enlightenment of the Buddha took place, and the tree was called "Sri Maha Bodhi." Since then, the Bodhi tree is not only a normal vegetation, but a symbol for the Buddha, and it is the anchor of the Buddhist mind.
From Buddha Ya, along the Neranage River, the offshoot of the Sri Maha Bodhi tree was summoned across the land and through time, through the dissemination of ancient Buddhism, to its roots in Srim Hoth, Prachinburi Province, becoming the "Bodhi Maha Bodhi Tree," one of Thailand's oldest bodhi trees, as a living history record.
Today, the Bodhi Tree Sri Mahabodhi is not only an important ancient site, but also a symbol of Prachinburi Province, and a bridge to the Buddhist faith from the past, to the present and to the future.
ต้นพระศรีมหาโพธิ์ที่จังหวัดปราจีนบุรี นอกจากจะมีความสำคัญทางประวัติศาสตร์และศาสนาแล้ว ในฐานะที่ได้ไปเยือนด้วยตัวเอง ผมรู้สึกได้ถึงบรรยากาศสงบร่มเย็นที่รายล้อมรอบต้นโพธิ์ขนาดใหญ่ ซึ่งทำให้จิตใจผ่อนคลายและรู้สึกใกล้ชิดกับธรรมชาติได้อย่างแท้จริง ที่ต้นพระศรีมหาโพธิ์ศรีมโหสถนี้ มีผู้คนจากทั่วสารทิศมาเยี่ยมชมและทำบุญกันอย่างต่อเนื่อง ซึ่งสะท้อนถึงความศรัทธาอันมั่นคงของชาวพุทธที่มีต่อสัญลักษณ์ต้นไม้ต้นนี้ นอกจากนี้ ภายในบริเวณยังมีโบราณสถานและสิ่งก่อสร้างที่สะท้อนถึงความสำคัญของสถานที่ซึ่งทำให้ผมได้เรียนรู้ประวัติศาสตร์ของศาสนาพุทธในแต่ละยุคสมัยผ่านการบรรยายและป้ายข้อมูลต่างๆ สำหรับผู้ที่สนใจศึกษาและสัมผัสประสบการณ์ทางศาสนาแบบใกล้ชิด ผมขอแนะนำให้แวะเที่ยวที่นี่ในช่วงเวลาที่อากาศกำลังดี เช่น ช่วงเช้าหรือเย็น เพื่อรับความรู้สึกที่ดีที่สุดจากธรรมชาติและความสงบที่จะช่วยให้การเดินทางมีคุณค่ามากยิ่งขึ้น
