Now i’m sure your wondering why anyone would choose to live tiny, with kids! Well here it goes!
Fulltime rv living was always a dream of mine, but it was never the plan, until it was. We owned our first house by 23, and after Covid decided to sell taking that opportunity to move to a “better area” for our kids.
Shortly after moving into our second house we learned my husband would be working out of state. With a mortgage, car payment, me in school, and the kids deep in extra curricular activities moving again wasn’t an option. Josh working out of town quickly became him travel to multiple states, and always moving. This also made it so he couldn’t be home often, I’ve counted many times and in 2022 we only saw him 84 days out of the year.
After an entire year of this we knew this wasn’t the life we wanted. After speaking with the kids our decision to sell what was supposed to be our forever home so we could travel as a family became reality. From the day we listed our house we had 45 days to be out, this meant selling everything, packing up what we needed, finding the perfect rv, and a truck to pull it all with in 45 days. I’m not going to lie, that was hard, emotionally, mentally, and physically.
As I write this I’m sitting in our little home on wheels, surrounded by laughter, family, and love. It’s a very different picture then this time last year! So maybe rv living wasn’t the plan, but I absolutely love that plans changes, and I love our little life♥️
