Must haves for rv living
Living in an RV is sooo different than living in a regular house, or apartment! We’ve learned so much over the last 8 months so now I’m here to share my knowledge with y’all!
1. Propane tank sensors- We Have run out of propane more times then I would like to admit! The sensors bluetooth to your phone, and tell you the tank levels at any given time! Best part, when your tank starts to get low, the app sends you a notification!
2. New locks- Rv locks all come with a standard lock, and they are all the same! This means Joe blow 3 doors down has the same key for his Rv that you have for yours! And yes he can unlock your door with it😳 Changing the locks was a must have for us, after learning this fact! We love ours with the key pad, and 100% recommend!
3/4. Dehumidifier- three and four go together, but work different. I’m sure your rolling your eyes at that 1800sqft dehumidifier, BUT I promise you’ll thank me! RVs hold humidity like Florida, and they sweat from the walls if there’s to much humidity. This can lead to mold, mildew, and so many other problems so yes the massive dehumidifier is necessary! But it’s not all you need, I’m closets, draws, and little storage spots Damprid is also a must have! We change ours out every 30-45 days depending on how full they are.
