- dont find it worth the price tag for this low-ceiling garden studio. if it's the bigger/grander glasshouse then might make more sense.
+ the outdoor solemnisation place was pretty nice though!
- however you'll have to rent your own mic set lolll
- add on another $1500 for function room as an add-on if wet weather and we dont want to use ballroom as solemnisation location. to us this is really too exp for a normal looking function room without deco even.
- hotel's reception area is very small and looks very "make-shift", we wanted better presentation/looks. wouldnt be a big deal if everything was good but unfortunately nehhh

Having toured the Andaz Garden Studio for a wedding of about 100 to 120 guests, I felt it was important to consider both the positives and drawbacks. While the outdoor solemnisation area was lovely and suited intimate moments well, the low ceiling in the Garden Studio itself felt a bit confining for a significant gathering. One aspect that stood out was the presentation of the 8-course meals, each individually plated, which adds an elegant touch to the dining experience. On the flip side, the need to rent your own microphone set was an unexpected extra I hadn’t anticipated. Another thing to keep in mind is the cost if you want to avoid the ballroom for wet weather — an add-on of $1500 for the function room seemed steep given the relatively plain setup without decorations. Plus, the hotel’s reception area was smaller and more makeshift looking than I had hoped, which could affect initial impressions for guests. If you’re seriously considering the Garden Studio, I’d suggest also checking out the larger glasshouse venue at Andaz. It apparently offers a grander ambiance for a similar price, which might be a better fit depending on your expectations and budget. Overall, while the Garden Studio has its charm and some standout features, weigh the cost against your priorities and guest experience. My experience may help guide others hunting for the right wedding venue in this size range at Andaz.
