It's not just a place; it's a feeling, especially when everything is blooming and fresh. Walking through the gates, the message truly welcomes you: 'welcome to SPRING AT THE SILOS! We are so glad you're here!' And believe me, you feel welcomed. For me, the 'wake essence' of Magnolia in spring is all about sensory delights and a sense of renewal. Imagine stepping onto the lush green lawn, surrounded by vibrant seasonal flowers that burst with color. The air itself feels lighter, carrying the subtle fragrance of blooming magnolia trees mingled with the sweet scent of fresh-baked goods from the Silos Baking Co. It’s an awakening for all your senses! One of the best ways to truly embrace this essence is to simply 'Enjoy walking around to discover all the everyday beauty this season holds.' Don't rush! I loved meandering through the garden areas, admiring Joanna Gaines's impeccable seasonal displays. Every corner reveals a new detail, from charming planters to quaint seating areas perfect for a moment of reflection. The kids (and adults!) were having a blast playing lawn games, adding a lively, joyful hum to the atmosphere. To make the most of your spring visit, I highly recommend checking the 'EVENTS CALENDAR' beforehand. Magnolia often hosts special spring events, workshops, or even concert series that add another layer to the experience. During my visit, there was a local artisan market, which was fantastic for finding unique, handcrafted souvenirs. It’s these little extras that really make the trip special and contribute to that renewed, 'wake' feeling. The shops themselves, especially the main Magnolia Market, are brimming with spring-themed decor and products. I found so many beautiful items that capture the fresh, airy aesthetic of the season. From delicate floral scents that might even embody a literal 'magnolia wake essence' (perhaps in a candle or room spray!) to cozy throws in pastel hues, it's easy to bring a piece of that spring awakening home with you. Don't forget to grab a coffee from the Silos Coffee Co. and find a spot to simply watch the world go by. It’s a wonderful way to pause, breathe, and truly soak in the unique spirit of spring at Magnolia. This place truly recharges your soul and reminds you of the simple beauty in everyday life.
