Day 3!
It's been 3 days since I removed extracted them from the breeding cave, I definitely do notice a slight increase in their overall size! Their appetite have also increased which is nice to see!
From personal experience with breeding and raising creatures, the first few days after removing them from a controlled environment like a breeding cave are critical for observing growth and behavior changes. The slight increase in overall size within three days is a positive sign that they are adapting well to their new surroundings. Increased appetite is equally important, as it reflects their metabolism kicking into gear and supports their physical development. During this period, it's crucial to monitor their diet closely; providing nutrient-rich food can enhance their growth trajectory. In my experience, variety in their diet also stimulates appetite further and prevents nutritional deficiencies. Additionally, maintaining optimal temperature and humidity levels similar to the breeding cave can ease their transition. Keep an eye out for any signs of stress or health issues, as changes in environment sometimes lead to vulnerability. Record weight or size measurements every few days if possible to track steady growth. Patience and attentive care during this phase often result in stronger and healthier juveniles ready for the next stages of development. Overall, this period is exciting because it offers tangible evidence of successful breeding and growth through increased size and appetite.
