Christmas Eve with In Laws
It’s the first Christmas with my baby boy and I’m sooooo emotional. It’s been a really hard year. Hard pregnancy(ies), hard relationships and more.
I always imagined my first Christmas with my kids would have been different. I had hoped I’d been in a better place mentally and emotionally, financially as well.
There were so many traditions I wanted to start Family photoshoots I wanted to maybe try for annual holiday photos. DIY holiday decor, driving around the lights, picking out a tree, baking cookies… it’s hard to feel like I’m not feeling him as a mom and I’m not failing myself for the type of parent I want to be
And then everything hit the fan with having to move apartments due to mold, my car breaking down, losing contact with family members, family members moving, losing friends… etc
It was still a cute time and I’m glad I was able to see him smile and enjoy himself with the lights and music. He loved his toys and his family loved him more.
