A Walk in Wonder~UU Nature Field Trip
This month’s Unitarian Universalist field trip brought us to Riverbend Park — a peaceful haven nestled in Jupiter, FL. With winding trails, cypress swamps, and the gentle flow of the Loxahatchee River, it’s a perfect spot to slow down, reconnect, and appreciate the wild beauty around us.
We’ve started a new initiative with our UU congregation to explore a new local trail or natural space each month — open to all ages, abilities, and belief systems. Just bring your curiosity, a water bottle, and walking shoes. This practice of collective awe reminds us: the earth is sacred, and so is our shared presence on it.
Riverbend offers biking, hiking, kayaking, canoe rentals, wildlife spotting, and quiet space for reflection. Parking is free, trails are well-marked, and the energy is pure serenity.
