i needa find friends fr🤦🏽‍♀️😂

... Read moreBeing a young mom, especially at 19, is an incredible adventure, but let's be real – it can also be incredibly isolating. My days are a constant cycle of caring for my baby, trying to get school work done, and yes, always cleaning the room because it gets dirty so fast! In the midst of all this, I often feel that deep need to find friends, real connections, and a supportive community. It’s not like in school where making friends felt so natural. Now, with a little one, my schedule is completely different, and my priorities have shifted. The common ways to connect with peers just don't fit into my 'a day as a 19-year-old mom' routine. That's why I've been exploring how to find online friends and online social groups for adults who understand this unique phase of life. It’s about more than just casual acquaintances; I'm genuinely looking for my mom tribe, people I can share my unfiltered experiences with. One of the biggest game-changers has been looking for apps for making friends. There are platforms specifically designed to help people, especially new parents, connect based on location and shared interests. It’s like a 'friend finder online' right in your pocket. I've found that being upfront about my situation – a young mom wanting to connect – helps attract people who are truly on the same wavelength. It’s about building genuine friend groups, not just scrolling through profiles. Beyond dedicated friend-finding apps, I’ve also looked into various online social groups. Facebook groups for young moms in my area or specific parenting styles have been a great resource. You can often find groups dedicated to topics like 'day in my life' as a mom, or even for specific hobbies. Joining these groups allows me to connect with others who are going through similar challenges and joys. It's amazing how supportive these online communities can be. Sometimes, just seeing someone else share their struggles with cleaning or juggling school and baby makes me feel less alone. For anyone wondering how to connect with others when your life is so busy, my advice is to start small. Engage in comments, share your thoughts, and don't be afraid to send a friendly message. It takes time and effort to make friends online, just like in real life. But the payoff of finding people who 'get' it, who can offer advice, or just be there for a virtual chat, is priceless. It truly enhances the richness and practicality of daily life. This journey to find friends online is ongoing, but every little connection makes a difference in feeling less isolated and more supported.
