Art, the Dark Arts of Perception The Art of Dark Perception
Human perception is never just what "sees and ends," but it is the interpretation, embellishment, and sometimes the creation of the "Maya" that leads us to believe that it is true. The practice of consciousness is like having a flashlight in his hand, shining through the haze of darkness, and it begins to show us that behind the bright light that passes through the eyes may not be the sun, but only a well-placed lamp that we often fill in the gap unconsciously, but consciousness warns that it is not the whole picture.
"Don't judge the whole thing from just the first split second."
When charm is a trap
Humans are often deceived by "first impressions," whether they are looks, words, or even postures. Smiling people may not always be gracious, and straightforward people may not be as bad as we think. Psychology calls this phenomenon the Halo Effect, or we often assume that one of the dominant features indicates all the other qualities, such as good-looking people → good-looking people → smart → trustworthy, even if there is no direct connection.
Looking through the deceptive charm
Consciousness allows us to recognize that everything has two aspects, one that may be good at work but lacks relationship skills, the other that may be socially attractive but fragile alone. Learning to look carefully is to accept both the "open side" and the "hidden side" without being attracted or judged by a momentary flame of feeling.
Society and Illusion
In the social media age, the image is a battlefield that everyone creates ourselves. We choose to post the best angles, beautify them, and publish only parts of our lives. The truth we see on the feed page is a fraction, not the whole picture. "Senseless believing" unconsciously leads us to envy, delusion, and distress.
The Dark Arts of Perception
This science is not superstition, but the realization that our own perception is easily distorted. What we think is real may be the embellishment of the brain and emotions. If unconscious, we may be deceived repeatedly, but if conscious, we can use the eyes of wisdom to see the illusion, see the truth behind it, and live more firmly.
"The first flame may be illuminated, but only the sunlight of consciousness allows us to see the world."
