⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is the first book in the Secrets Trilogy and damn what a way to dangle a carrot in front of you!! I could not get enough of this book.

The plot was so compelling, I didn’t want to put down. I loved the character developments of both Trey and Arella. Trey, the MMC, the “bad boy” who is determined to take down those responsible for the death of his parents. Arella, the FMC, who has her walls up since she broke free from a traumatic relationship. Trey’s mission gets dismantled after Arella comes into his path. I could feel the shift when he falls for her. I was all for their friends Liz and Javina and the banter throughout was impeccable!

This is a compelling romance with elements of fantasy sprinkled in. Although this isn’t a short read it’s a fast paced one and an easy one to get wrapped in. The author has a way of pulling you in and the story flowed seamlessly. It is riveting and exciting and the twists will have you gasping! And the cliffhanger!?! I have no words 😫 ……in need of Book 2!!
