I've been using this orange kitchen cleaner recipe for months, and it really works wonders on grease and grime without the harsh chemicals found in store-bought products. The key is to let the orange peels soak in white vinegar in a dark place for at least two weeks, which allows the vinegar to absorb the natural oils from the orange peels. These oils provide an effective disinfecting action and a pleasant citrus scent that brightens up your kitchen. When I make this cleaner, I always use an amber spray bottle to protect the solution from light, which helps maintain its potency. Diluting the concentrated vinegar infusion with water in a 50/50 ratio ensures it’s safe for a variety of surfaces, including countertops, stovetops, and sinks. Plus, it's biodegradable and free from synthetic fragrances, making it ideal for those with sensitivities or pets at home. In addition to cleaning, this solution can also help eliminate odors from the kitchen, leaving behind a fresh, natural citrus scent. I recommend making this in small batches so it's always fresh, and you can reuse orange peels from your everyday fruit consumption, reducing waste. Give it a try and experience a simple yet powerful way to keep your kitchen clean and green!
