Unvaccinated kids shouldn’t go to school.

This excludes kids with legit medical exemptions. That’s exactly why herd immunity matters to protect the immunocompromised. 💗

If you want to live “free of government control,” homeschool. Public schools are government institutions with public health rules. You don’t get taxpayer-funded education while rejecting basic standards that keep classrooms safe.

We run drills, do background checks, enforce nut-free rooms, fix air filters, vaccines sit in that same category: community safety.

This isn’t about debating the science. That ship sailed decades ago. I’m a parent who’s tired of seeing preventable diseases creep back because “personal choice” keeps outweighing public responsibility.

Don’t send an unvaccinated child into a shared space and ask babies, teachers, and medically fragile kids to pay for your “research.” Community care isn’t control. It’s accountability.

How are your schools handling vaccinations? Should attendance require up-to-date shots with medical exemptions only?

... Read moreVaccinating children before attending school is a crucial public health strategy designed to protect not only the vaccinated children but also those who cannot receive vaccines due to legitimate medical reasons. Herd immunity works by reducing the overall presence of contagious diseases in the community, thereby minimizing the chance of outbreaks that could impact vulnerable groups such as infants, elderly, and immunocompromised individuals. Schools are environments where children gather closely, which facilitates the rapid spread of infectious diseases if some students remain unvaccinated. Implementing vaccination requirements helps maintain safe classrooms and prevents the resurgence of preventable illnesses that were once nearly eradicated. This approach is similar to other health and safety measures schools enforce, such as conducting safety drills, maintaining clean air through filter updates, and ensuring nut-free zones for allergies—each designed to safeguard students' well-being. Opposing vaccination mandates on the grounds of personal freedom overlooks the shared responsibility we have towards community welfare. For families wishing to avoid vaccination requirements, homeschooling offers an alternative without compromising public safety standards in governmental education institutions. The message "VACCINATE YOUR KIDS. IT'S NOT UP FOR DEBATE." underscores the settled scientific consensus endorsing vaccines as safe and effective. It draws a clear line against misinformation that personal choice should override community health. By adhering to vaccination guidelines, parents contribute to a culture of accountability and care, preventing unnecessary risks to teachers, children with medical vulnerabilities, and newborns. As schools consider policies for reopening, many are upholding vaccination as a prerequisite for attendance, permitting only medically justified exemptions. This stance reflects a commitment to collective health, much like other established safety protocols. Engaging in conversations about these policies can help communities understand the shared benefits and responsibilities tied to immunization. Ultimately, protecting public health in schools through vaccination mandates is a necessary measure to ensure a safe and thriving environment for all students and staff. Encouraging vaccination is not just a preventive act but a demonstration of social responsibility and compassion towards our most vulnerable members.

Since they never did studies on the vaccines, I am so glad there were just a few required when my children were young. How many are there now? I think last count there were 80 plus. I had a smallpox vaccine only. I survived when medical knowledge was much less when I was a child. I took mumps at the age of 19. I have a great grandson who is vaccine free. He is healthy. They poison the skies, they poison our food and they poison our children.

Sometimes the most powerful thing we can say to a child is, “I’m sorry.” Not to excuse behavior. Not to shift blame. But to show accountability, repair, and respect. When adults apologize sincerely, kids learn that mistakes don’t end relationships—they open the door to honesty, trust, and growt
