Our new to us ✨ 2023 Mazda CX 50 Preferred Plus AWD✨

Previously, I had a 2019 Mazda CX 5 Sport and let me tell you… I HATED it.

It was black so it held in all the heat. There was no AC in the back for the kids so they were always sweaty. My ex husband’s name was still on it and all the bad memories were somehow tied to it because of it. It was a magnet for stupid drivers unaware of their surrounding. It hade been hit 5 separate occasions. But recently it was deemed a total loss after a wreck my oldest and I were in so we were on the hunt for a new car.

I stressed for a month and a half about what car I should get. I was dead set on a Honda Pilot or a Toyota Highlander because of the third row seating and captain seat options. But I stumbled upon a bigger and better version of my old car and immediately fell in love. And it was in the same if not cheaper than a Honda Accord.

The color, the panoramic sunroof, Apple CarPlay because I use GPS everyday, and it had an all weather mat in the trunk. Within a week I became the new owner to it as a single mom of 2 and my youngest being disabled. It was something to be proud of. 😩 They both love it. I overheard my oldest say “I love everything about my new car” to the neighborhood kids when she was showing them the automatic lift gate on the trunk before they sat in it.

We named her Trail-Mix because my kids are crumbers when they eat and will inevitably create a trail-mix of crumbs in it so to speak. But they have yet to be able to eat in it and I hope we can actually keep it clean.
