📍Dongpaotai Seal Bay Ecological Conservation Park (东炮台海豹湾生态保育公园)

One of my favourite spots in Yantai !!! You can get up close to the seals, feed them, and even catch their performance!! The baby seals were honestly my favourite 🥹 So playful and adorable!!

it is located near Yantai Fisherman’s Wharf (烟台海昌渔人码头), so it’s easy to visit both in one trip !!

Being able to get up close to the seals was a highlight, especially seeing the baby seals interact so playfully. The environment is well-maintained, ensuring both visitors and animals have a safe and enjoyable time. What makes it even more convenient is how close it is to Yantai Fisherman’s Wharf, so you can plan to see both places in a single day without hassle. When I visited, feeding the seals was not only fun but also gave me a sense of connection to the wildlife and the importance of conservation efforts. The live seal performances were surprisingly entertaining and showcased the animals’ intelligence and agility. For travelers looking to explore beyond the typical tourist attractions in Yantai, Dongpaotai Seal Bay offers an authentic glimpse into local ecological preservation and a wonderful opportunity to support animal protection initiatives. Don’t forget to bring a camera to capture those adorable moments with baby seals! Whether you’re traveling solo, as a couple, or with family, this park provides a charming and educational outing that enriches your travel experience in China.
