Chappell Roan unboxing

I loved rise and fall of a Midwest princess and was so excited to see there was a cd left at Target. Photos on the cd case look so cool I love the whole vibe going on. I love how the lyrics all look handwritten as well as the letter on the back! It’s so sweet. The cd is a little simple for me compared to all the photos but I still like it. It’s a nice simple design. I’m so happy for her winning best new artist at the Grammy’s! I can’t wait for the giver to come out!

... Read moreOkay, so after getting my hands on the 'Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess' CD, I just HAVE to talk more about the incredible details! It's not just an album; it's a whole experience, and the physical packaging truly delivers. First off, the front cover is iconic. The description of Chappell Roan with her signature red curly hair, wearing a crown and sash in front of a brightly lit vanity mirror, perfectly captures her persona. It’s so glamorous yet approachable, hinting at the journey of self-discovery and transformation that the album explores. When you flip it over, the back cover continues this narrative, showing her looking into a small mirror amidst a cluttered vanity. This detail, along with the visible album tracklist and barcode, really makes you feel like you're getting a peek behind the curtain of her world. It adds a layer of intimacy to the whole package. Opening the CD case is another treat. The double-page spread showing Chappell from behind at a vanity on one side and facing forward with a sash on the other is pure art. It feels like a visual representation of her stage presence and the duality she often plays with. Then, there's the unfolded poster – honestly, this was a highlight for me. The song lyrics printed in a handwritten style, scattered with those small red kiss marks across the white background, are just *chef's kiss*. It’s such a personal touch that makes you feel more connected to her songwriting process. I spent ages just reading through them, almost like she penned them just for me. And the *CD itself*? While the original post mentioned it's a bit simple, I think the black design with white stars is actually quite elegant and classic. It rests perfectly on the lyric sheet, creating a cohesive visual experience. It's understated but still fits the overall aesthetic. And let's not forget the *handwritten letter to 'dear Papa'*! That close-up detail, along with the postcard design and personal messages, really pulls at your heartstrings. It's these kinds of touches that elevate a standard album release into something truly special and collectible. For anyone looking to complete their Chappell Roan collection or dive deeper into the world of 'Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess,' getting the physical CD is a must. It's more than just music; it's a piece of art that tells a story through every visual element. From the intricate vanity settings to the personal notes, every detail is thoughtfully curated. It makes me appreciate her artistry even more, and it's definitely a prized possession in my "chappell roan closet" of merch! If you're a fan, you won't regret experiencing this album in its full physical glory.
