Black pink Met Gala 2025 after party
My favorite is Jennie’s, I think it’s so cute! I also prefer Rose’s after party look compared to her carpet look (though the carpet one did fit the theme better).
Lowkey this post is my excuse to talk about the Shah Rukh Khan interview. Personally I found the interviewers to be very respectful, remember that the Teyana Taylor and Ego Nwodim aren’t journalists but celebs who were assigned as interviewers. People keep saying how “Americans live in a bubble” and don’t look beyond themselves yet seem to care so much about Americans not knowing a movie star, I know he’s very big outside the US and in some communities within the US. If American validation doesn’t matter to you then why are you crashing out over a RESPECTFUL short red carpet interview.
Also should we address how some fans are mad people “don’t recognize him” then call Teyana and Ego “influencers” as if they aren’t well known celebs in their own right. I may not known much in Teyana but pushing aside her achievements is disrespectful as well. (Yes I know they might not be as big as he is but my point still stands that it’s disrespectful). People kept saying they should’ve “done research” for a 2 minute interview with someone who the event isn’t even centered on.
My final thing is that even after all I’ve said I can still acknowledge that this could be a cultural difference in how people view and treat celebs. Someone on Tik Tok mentioned how in the US no celeb is treated like a king/queen or God, the closest is Beyoncé and maybe current Taylor Swift, but from the reactions it could be different in other parts in the world. Some emphasize on his wealth which I think doesn’t play out well considering the in the current US economy. This could be a huge cultural misunderstanding on both parts, since the Met Gala is an American event which means American norms will be followed as expected when you go to events other countries.
THIS IS NOT ATTACKING ANYONE TEYANA, EGO, AND SHAH ROHK KHAN WERE ALL SEEMED VERY NICE AND RESPECTFUL. If anything it was the designer who made this weird with the “you know how famous he is” comment. Also the designer said his interpretation of Black Dandyism was “demonstrating SRK’s super stardom on a global scale” (Vogue) which is not what Black Dandyism is but that’s a discussion for people more knowledgeable in fashion than I.

As a huge fan, I was absolutely living for Blackpink's Met Gala 2025 after-party looks! After seeing all the buzz, I just had to dive deeper into Jennie, Rose, and Lalisa's fashion choices. It's always exciting to see what these style icons will wear, and this year's after-party did not disappoint. First up, Jennie's look! I totally agree with the original post – her outfit was incredibly cute and perfectly captured her signature chic vibe. She stunned in a black lace-trimmed halter top paired with a matching black mini skirt. What really made the look pop for me were the sheer patterned tights and that adorable small black hat. It felt very playful yet sophisticated, a perfect blend for an after-party where you can let loose a bit more than on the main carpet. Her choice of a black halter top highlighted her elegant neckline, and the mini skirt added a youthful edge. Then there's Rose, who truly outdid herself for the after-party in my opinion. While her main carpet look was thematic, her after-party ensemble felt uniquely 'Rose.' She opted for a stylish black blazer worn over a sheer top, flowing into a gorgeous ruffled peach-colored high-low skirt. The contrast between the edgy black blazer and the soft peach skirt was just stunning! And let's not forget the details: her black sheer tights and heels completed the look, adding a touch of sophistication and making her legs look miles long. I loved how the ruffled peach skirt moved as she walked, creating such a dynamic silhouette. And of course, we can't forget Lisa! She always brings an unexpected edge to her fashion, and her Met Gala 2025 after-party outfit was no exception. Lisa smiled and waved, looking effortlessly cool in a tied denim crop top, denim shorts, and unique black patterned chaps. Her blonde hair styled in waves perfectly complemented the laid-back yet undeniably chic aesthetic. The denim chaps were a bold choice, showcasing her fearless approach to fashion and definitely making a statement. It was such a fun, edgy look that really stood out amongst the more traditional after-party attire. It's clear that Blackpink members always bring their A-game to fashion events, and their Met Gala after-party looks were a masterclass in individual style!
Also I forgot to mention that S.Coups is not included as it seems he didn’t attend an after party (to my knowledge)
