The best girl in the world

It’s truly a joy to share more about my precious Hazel, who you might know as 'the best girl in the world' – and for good reason! As you can see from her photos, my Hazel is a beautiful tan and white Corgi, and her playful winks and affectionate kisses are just a glimpse into her amazing personality. Living with a Corgi like Hazel is an adventure every single day, filled with laughter and endless cuddles. One of Hazel's most endearing quirks, as I mentioned, is her love for cuddling in my clothes. Seriously, if I leave a suitcase open or a pile of laundry unattended for a second, you'll find her nestled right in there, looking utterly content like it’s her personal nest! It’s not just for warmth; I think she just loves being surrounded by my scent. It’s the cutest thing, even if it means I sometimes have to dig her out before I can get dressed! I’ve learned to embrace it; after all, who can say no to a Corgi snuggling among your sweaters? And let's talk about her fashion sense! Matching outfits with her mommy isn't just a hobby; it's become our special bonding ritual. Whether it's a cozy pink sweater that perfectly complements mine, or her absolutely adorable UPS uniform for special occasions, she wears everything with such pride. It always brings a smile to people's faces, and honestly, she looks so dapper in her little outfits. It's just another way we share our lives and create fun memories together. Her passion for tearing up toys until she gets to the squeaky part is classic Corgi! They're such intelligent and determined dogs, and that little squeaker is her ultimate prize. While it means I go through a lot of toys, watching her focused determination is hilarious. I always make sure to get her durable toys, but even those don't stand a chance against her mission to find the squeak! Hazel is also incredibly smart, which definitely helps with all the tricks she knows. From a simple 'sit' and 'down' to more complex ones like 'twirl' and giving a 'kiss' on command, she picks things up so quickly. It’s all about positive reinforcement and making training fun, almost like a game for her. We spend short, engaging sessions together, and she absolutely loves showing off her skills. And when it comes to food, she truly believes anything I’m eating is her favorite! Corgis are notoriously food-motivated, so I have to be careful and only share dog-safe treats, but her hopeful eyes are hard to resist. Life with Hazel, and sometimes with her Corgi siblings as you might spot in some photos, is always lively. Corgis are known for their big personalities in small bodies, and Hazel truly embodies that. They're loyal, intelligent, and full of character. Having multiple Corgis means endless playdates, synchronized naps on the couch, and a whole lot of fluffy, happy energy in the house. If you're considering a Corgi, be prepared for a dog that will utterly steal your heart and fill your home with joy and a surprising amount of hair! Hazel truly is the brightest star in my world, and I wouldn’t trade our adventures for anything.
