Guide to Cornell Note-Taking with Notes+

1/14 Edited to

... Read moreUsing Notes+ on an iPad makes the Cornell method even more powerful with features like customizable templates and digital handwriting that mimic traditional note-taking while enhancing flexibility. Before lectures, I set up my Notes+ template to include the lecture title, date, and topic. This helps me keep everything well-organized and easy to find later, especially during exam prep. During the lecture, I focus on jotting down main notes capturing key concepts and important details. The iPad's touchscreen allows me to quickly sketch diagrams or highlight text, which adds clarity compared to typing. After class, I use the cues column to write keywords or questions that help quiz myself later. Summarizing my notes in a few lines reinforces what I learned. It’s satisfying to see how quickly review sessions become more efficient. One thing I've found helpful is to incorporate some of the terminology and key phrases from my lectures, like "operations management," "supply chain," and related concepts, into my cues. It makes linking ideas easier. Overall, using Notes+ with the Cornell method has transformed my study sessions on the iPad into a more interactive and organized experience. Whether you're a student or a lifelong learner, adapting this digital note-taking synergy boosts comprehension and retention.
