DIY Crystal Bear!

Think of clear, sparkling resin infused with glitters, mica powders, or even tiny reflective elements that make your finished piece look like it was carved from a giant, glittering gemstone. To get started on your own dazzling resin bear, here’s a peek at the essentials I gathered. You'll need a silicone bear mold (they come in all shapes and sizes!), a high-quality epoxy resin kit (make sure it's a 1:1 or 2:1 ratio for easy mixing), disposable mixing cups, stir sticks, and, importantly, safety gear like nitrile gloves and safety glasses. For the 'crystal' effect, my go-to items are fine and chunky glitters (iridescent ones are amazing!), translucent mica powders or liquid resin dyes if you want a colored crystal look, and maybe even some tiny dried flowers or beads if you're feeling extra fancy.
