How to: grow your glutes & keep waist snatched! 🍑

I’ve been working out consistently for 4 years and only recently started to see the results I always wanted. The biggest difference came from learning to engage my core in every single exercise. It keeps my waist tight and helps build strength everywhere else.

Here’s my current routine that’s helped me stay lean while growing glutes and legs:

Glute + Lower Body Day 🤏🏻🤏🏻🤏🏻

• Cable kickbacks 3x15

• Romanian deadlifts (RDLs) 3x10

• Walking lunges 3x20 steps

• Hip thrusts 4x12

• Squats 4x10: girls, don’t be afraid of squats!

I like to do higher reps with lighter weight first, then go heavy with fewer reps. Always keep the movement slow and controlled to actually feel the muscle working.

🔥 Cardio

After every workout I finish with 15–20 minutes of incline walking or stairmaster. For a long time I was scared to do cardio because I didn’t want to lose my gains, but adding it consistently helped me burn fat and stay more defined.

🌱Supplements + Extras

I take clean creatine monohydrate daily. Don’t be afraid to use creatine just because social media says it will make you bulky. It won’t… it helps with recovery, strength, and shape.

I also wear a waist trimmer for every workout. It helps me sweat more and tighten my waist over time.

Stay consistent, focus on form, and take your time. Results come when you stop rushing and start training smart. 💕💗

... Read moreGrowing your glutes while maintaining a snatched waist is a fitness goal many strive for, and it's achievable through a strategic blend of strength training, core activation, and lifestyle habits. One of the keys to success is engaging your core during every exercise, which not only protects your spine but also helps keep your waist tight. This core engagement supports better form and maximizes the effectiveness of lower body movements like squats, hip thrusts, and Romanian deadlifts. For muscle building, varying your reps and weights is essential. Starting with higher reps and lighter weights warms up your muscles, improving your mind-muscle connection and muscle endurance. Following that with heavier weights and fewer reps promotes strength and hypertrophy. Moving slowly and with control during each repetition ensures the targeted muscles are effectively worked without compensation. Including cardio, especially incline walking or stairmaster sessions, aids in fat loss without sacrificing muscle gains when done after strength training. This balance helps you stay lean and defined while building glutes and legs. Supplementation can also play a role. Creatine monohydrate is a well-researched supplement that supports recovery, enhances strength, and shapes muscles without causing bulkiness. Many misconceptions linger on social media about creatine, but it’s safe and effective when taken correctly. Additionally, using a waist trimmer during workouts can increase perspiration around the midsection, promoting water weight loss and aiding in the feeling of a tighter waist. However, remember that waist trainers do not replace strength training or good nutrition—they work best as part of an overall fitness strategy. Consistency, attention to form, and smart, gradual progressions in your routine are what bring lasting results. It's important not to rush gains but to focus on training intelligently for sustainable body transformation. Remember, fitness is a journey unique to everyone. Incorporate a balanced routine and stay patient—those glute gains and a snatched waist will follow with time and effort.
